This UPS number is assigned to each mail uniquely so that you don’t have a difficulty receiving or sending it and tracking it when it is lost. As you can see in the example below, it starts with IZ. In case your shipment has multiple packages, you can go to the summary column and click on ‘Show All.’ The UPS tracking number is an eight-digit alphanumeric character that ends with a check digit. Track via Number

This kind of tracking is more comfortable as you have the number from the UPS service. All you have to do is put the tracking number, starting with IZ, and click on ‘track.’
