Since we spend so much time talking about intimacy being important between spouses and lovers, this might surprise us. It should not be shocking to hear that sharing sleeping quarters with your lover could be unhealthy. The unhealthy aspects vary, and some extremes need not be covered here.

Sharing sleeping quarters or a bed with your lover will rarely be fatal. However, the unhealthy factors could be linked to physical and emotional factors. Sharing a bed with a partner could include factors one never considered would be a problem until they met in bed. These problems will arise through no one’s fault, simply due to personal choices and preferences.
