Today is the last day to register to vote in California if you want to participate in the Nov. 6 presidential election.

Residents still have time to register to vote online by visiting Registertovote.ca.gov and completing and submitting the application before midnight tonight.

Applications also can be sent by mail, as long they are postmarked for Oct. 22. Applications are available at county election offices, libraries, Department of Motor Vehicles offices and U.S. post offices and can be downloaded online.

Registration can also be completed in person at any county election office. Here is a list of county offices.

For more information on voting, check out the California secretary of state’s website.
