The Search for Raw Egg Cocktails Continues

By Tanya Jo Miller on September 2, 2010 - 2:16 p.m. PDT

As promised, here's part two of our quest for the raw-egg cocktail. Zoe Corneli and Queena Kim head to Pisco Latin Lounge, where bartenders have concocted their own egg-white drink called the Pimiento Cielo. Turns out the bartender doesn't crack eggs into the drink himself, but uses pastuerized egg whites that come ready-made in a container. That means the chances of getting sick from salmonella are next to nil.

While there, we meet some barflies, one of whom has never eaten an egg in his life! The reason? He worked at a chicken farm as a kid. But after a few under his belt, he breaks down and takes a sip of our egg cocktail. Take a look!
