Missing 85-Year-Old Man With Alzheimer's Found Dead

A man who was found dead on Sunday night at the Hayward Regional Seashore has been identified as 85-year-old Toshio Kato, according to the Alameda County coroner's bureau. Kato, a Hayward resident with Alzheimer's disease, had been previously reported missing, according to the coroner's bureau. Petaluma police issued 66 citations and 10 warnings Wednesday to drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians during a traffic safety enforcement operation.
