Many popular nail polishes and other nail care products contain a "toxic trio" of chemicals, according to a California Department of Toxic Substances study released Tuesday. The study found high concentrations of 3 chemicals — tolulene, formaldehyde, and dibutyl phtlate (DBP) — in a majority of the products studied, even those products that claim to be free of them. Bay Area Dominates List of Cities with Highest Percentage of Asians

Six of the top 10 cities with the highest percentage of Asian residents in the United States are located in the Bay Area, according to a U.S. Census report released Wednesday. Daly City has the second-highest percentage of Asians of any city in the nation. (Honolulu, Hawaii has the highest percentage.) Poll: Most Chinese Voters Would Support Ed Lee for SF Mayor
