A new survey shows 30 percent of Californians use Twitter, and more and more of us are using our smart phones to go online. Those are just some of the findings from the Public Policy Institute of California's third statewide look at trends in techonology adoption.

The PPIC surveyed 2,502 California adult residents, including 2,001 interviewed on landline telephones and 501 interviewed on cell phones. Interviews were conducted in English, Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), Vietnamese, and Korean.
