Peter Lewis

About Me

Peter H. Lewis is managing editor of The Bay Citizen. Before that he taught digital journalism and reporting as the Hearst Visiting Professional in Residence at Stanford University, where he was also a John S. Knight Fellow researching business models for digital journalism. He was senior editor at Fortune magazine 2000-2007, and senior writer, reporter, columnist, assistant financial editor, assistant science editor and second-baseman on the company softball team at the New York Times from 1982 to 1996 and from 1997 to 2000. The Bay Citizen is his third journalism startup.
