Hamilton Nolan over at Gawker is most out of character this morning, giving Greg Mortenson, the famed school-builder, a pass on fabricating critical parts of his monster-selling memoir, "Three Cups of Tea." Nuclear Meltdowns, Tsunamis, Earthquakes — How Scared Should We Be?

At one point yesterday, as I was trying to get the latest on the Japanese nuclear crisis, I clicked over to the Wall Street Journal and the lead headline said "Officials Stabilize Damaged Complex."
