About Me

The mission of Firelight Foundation is to improve the well-being of children made vulnerable by HIV, AIDS, and poverty in sub-Saharan Africa. Firelight supports grassroots organizations that help families and communities meet the needs of their children. As of 2010, our ten-year anniversary, we have awarded 1,100 grants totaling nearly $14 million reaching 330 community-based organizations serving 250,000 children in Sub-Saharan African countries.
