In anticipation of a ruling in the Prop. 8 case, rallies and marches have been planned across the Bay Area in support of same-sex marriage. In San Francisco, a rally begins at 5 p.m. at Harvey Milk Plaza in the Castro district and will continue with a march to Civic Center Plaza. A same-sex rights advocacy group called Marriage Equality USA is involved in organizing a rally and march later today. The rally starts in the Castro at 5 p.m., followed by a march down Market to City Hall (with a stop at the LGBT Center along the way).
