Along with an upcoming Commonwealth Club event with rising SF political comics, the new season of USF Comedy Talks series is starting this week, featuring veteran star George Segal (been in too many movies to count, including a memorable turn as neurotic dad in "Flirting with Disaster"), writer/director Paul Mazursky (wrote the pilot for "The Monkees," as well as directing "Down and Out in Beverly Hills") and actor and Bay Area native Ronnie Schell (been in 24 movies, including Carol Reiner's "Fatal Instinct" spoof). Robert Strong hosts, but stick around for the audience Q&A -- always good for a laugh. $35.
