North Bay Assembly Primary Results In

Santa Rosa Planning Commissioner Michael Allen has defeated Vallejo City Councilman Michael Wilson for the Democratic nomination to the 7th District seat in the state Assembly.

Allen defeated Wilson in Sonoma and Napa counties but lost in Solano County, according to the final June 8 primary election results. Former Santa Rosa City Councilman Lee Pierce placed third.

Allen will face Republican Doris Gentry in the Nov. 2 election.

Sonoma County's Registrar of Voters released its results today. Napa and Solano counties released their results earlier this month.
