Mehserle Sentencing Pushed Back to November

Johannes Mehserle, the former BART police officer who was convicted last Thursday of involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of Oscar Grant, will not be sentenced until November, NBC Bay Area reports.

Mehserle was scheduled to be sentenced in August, but his lawyer asked for more time to prepare his case, which is now scheduled to be heard on Nov. 5 at 8:30 a.m., the Friday after the election. Mehserle remains in custody pending sentencing.

I am angry how much it takes to rid the streets of punks like Oscar Grant. His "supporters" have shown the likes of what he was all about; a gangbanging menace to society!!
