Inspired by happy hour, and the looming presence of Ed Lee’s moustache as a leading character in the mayoral campaign, some wacky interns and young managers over at Phil Ting’s Resetsanfrancisco.org came up with this video -- “San Francisco Para-Mayoral Activity” – a very silly spoof on the 2007 horror film “Paranormal Activity.”

Needless to say, the supernatural activity centers on a certain mayoral candidate’s creepy facial hair…

“Para-Mayoral” appears to be a much more DIY production than Ed Lee’s “‘2Legit2Quit” campaign music video featuring MC Hammer from last week.  While neither video is likely to pick up a CLIO Award, maybe they will succeed in interesting some new voters in the upcoming election; afterall, the moustache is a lot easier to understand than ranked choice voting – a true nightmare for many voters.
