Are the Eggs in Your Fridge Under Recall?

On Saturday, the Food and Drug Administration added to the massive list of eggs that have been recalled, the Examiner reported. The FDA list now includes eggs which were sold under over 40 brand names and packed at 15 different plants.

To figure out if the eggs in your refrigerator have been recalled due to the salmonella outbreak, look at the production code printed on the end of the carton. Then, check it against this list published by the FDA.

If you're wondering about the raw eggs that went into that traditional Caesar salad you ate at your favorite French bistro, check this list of restaurants and grocery stores in California that received the contaminated eggs, published by the California Department of Public Health.
