Help Wanted: Nonprofits Converge at Craigslist Foundation Bootcamp

What do you need? What can you offer? For almost a decade, folks have been going onto Craigslist to post these questions and put their needs out to the world. Last week, at Craigslist Foundation Bootcamp we decided give the hundreds of nonprofits a similar, albeit more craftsy, platform.

The nonprofits - which included ones that help clean up our seashores to others that help sick kids in hospitals make videos - descended on the San Francisco State Universtiy campus in Mission Bay on June 2 to participate in the eighth annual Craigslist Foundation Bootcamp. The daylong seminar brings together a wide range of organizations to share tools, tactics and skills in the hopes that they will be able to apply them to their own projects.

The Bay Citizen's Digital Corkboard invited attendees to write a brief statement about their organization or project, followed by a wish for something they need to attain their goals. (They also got to take a break from all the hustle and bustle of the conference and play with stickers and markers.)

The whole vibe of Craiglist Foundation Bootcamp is to share knowledge. In that spirit if you can provide something that one of the organizations below needs, please use the contact information in the captions.
