Win 2 Tickets to 'Mission United' Party at Public Works Tonight
By: Andy Wright
Do you love to party? Do you love the Mission? Then you will probably doubly love the Mission United party going down at Public Works tonight from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Thrown in celebration of everyone's favorite sunny San Francisco neighborhood, the event features music from the Hard French DJs, Afrolicious live with percussionists, Lights Down Low DJs, Tres Lingerie Live with James Anthony and others. Local bites will be offered by Chile Lindo Empanadas, Good Food Catering, and Taza Cafe, and local vendors and designers will be selling their wares, with a focus on fashion.
There will be free food between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., free tequilia while it lasts and $2 shots thereafter, $3 cocktails until 11 p.m. and $3 beers until midnight.
And all of the debauchery is for a good cause: the event will raise funds for neighborhood organizations SFSmiles, the Homeless Prenatal Program, and Dolores Street Community Services.
Fittingly, the event is hosted by noneother than Mission Mission blog.
How can you win tickets?
How many times does Lyn Collins ask people to rock her "AGAIN" in each iteration of the chorus of her hit/hot song, "Rock Me Again and Again"?
