Got the munchies —and a hankering for some jam sessions?  Phil Lesh, founding member of the Grateful Dead, is opening a restaurant.

The eatery, called Terrapin Crossroads, will be located in the canal district of San Rafael and double as performance space featuring music, poetry and lectures covering everything from “cosmology to history to environmental issues to building team spirit”.

According to the restaurants’s official website, it will “a beautiful, comfortable place where friends can meet to exchange ideas over a glass of wine or a drink ,a terrific meal, and of course hear some great music.”

The dining room is slated to open in February, and will offer “organic, sustainable farm to table food”.

Entertainment will take place in the “Grate Room”, where performances are scheduled to begin in March.
