About

In keeping with The Bay Citizen’s mission to foster civic engagement, we’ve teamed up with the Craigslist Foundation to cover the 2010 Boot Camp.

Held at UC Berkeley on on Saturday, August 14, the Boot Camp is an intensive one-day workshop that attracts around 1,500 influential community and nonprofit leaders who are passionate about strengthening their communities and neighborhoods. The goal of Boot Camp is to give people the tools and inspiration to put their ideas for community empowerment into action.

The Bay Citizen is collaborating with a handful of citizen journalists to capture the event through video and photos.
